Inspiration for pieces explained: Amethyst Droplet Earrings

I love amethyst, and wanted to try something special with these gorgeous quality gems. So when I added the silver head-pins, I gave them a sweeping bend, a curve that creates movement in them even when they are not being worn. But when you do wear them, the elegant curve gives so much more to the design than just a straight dangle would have done.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Amethyst Cascading Dangle Earrings

These are stunning earrings. I found these beads, and noticing that they cascade down in size, wanted to make a dangly pair of earrings. I decided that a classic smallest at the top was the most suitable for these earrings. They look stunning on, and are lovely to wear! Very glamorous.
