Inspiration for pieces explained: Garnet and Crimped Silver Bead Earrings

         

I adore the silver beads I used in these earrings, they are hand made in India and have such a pretty look! Pairing them with garnet was a no-brainer, the colour just shines out from the earrings.

Victorian Jet Silver Earrings    

Another auction find, and the luck of two identical hoops! No idea what these were originally, but the rarity of finding them both meant I had to create a pair of earrings. The difficult part was actually finding large enough links to take the jet without it breaking.
