Inspiration for pieces explained: Purple Night Necklace

I loved these gemstones from the moment I saw them. The first piece I created was the necklace, feeling that a simple string of the beads would be more effective than grouping them. However, for the earrings, I realised that I could do something similar to the Amethyst Elegant Drop Earrings (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/E22008.htm) and have a 'shooting star' effect.

I think these both work really well as the necklace sits nicely on the collarbone, and because the earrings dangle, they have a lot of life and interest. In each way, they show off the stones perfectly, and work very well.

p.s. And don't forget, we can customise any piece, make it longer, shorter, or change the fitting! Just ask!

Inspiration for pieces explained: Clear Star Necklace

Like the amethyst version, (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/N22003.htm) I wanted this necklace to show off the stones. However, as I had made the amethyst earrings, (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/E22004.htm ), I decided to create a necklace that copied the feel. I tried having the stars on individual chains and separate from each other, but holding them together I realised they looked so pretty together that I had to go for it. The circle of silver was designed to both hold the stars and the necklace part as well as be a striking feature. Overall a success.

Inspiration for pieces explained

Starry Bright Earrings

I wanted to make earrings to go with the Clear Star Necklace (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/HTML/Products/N22008/Necklace.htm), but as I only had two stones left, it didn't give me many choices.

So I went completely simple, and elegant.
