Opera-length pearls
I would love a set of opera-length pearls, however as I didn't want to string a set myself, it's something I don't appear to have a talent for, I decided to create a set that had the feel of a string of pearls, but was a little different.
The pearls are not set evenly along to chain, they are random.
Although this is from my personal collection, I'm happy to reproduce jewellery if possible. Please get in contact with me at enquiries@jewellerydragon.com

My jewellery
Triplet pearl earrings
These earrings started life as a set of three well-matched earrings.
I decided to put them together in one as I felt that way they were a little different. The colours match so well I feel this was the right thing to do.

Dutch Earrings
I have had these beads for a long time, and bought them at an antiques fair.
Finally I decided to turn them into earrings as they would be too fragile to use as charms, and although they are not a matched pair, I think they work very well.

My jewellery
Pearl cuff
I wanted an elegant pearl bracelet, as I had made a dangly bracelet previously:
I decided to experiment with a cuff style. This has its problems, to create the multiple layers I had to use multiple stands that do not look very elegant at the clasp, it's fine, but not the best solution. However, I love to wear it.

Black Gold Earrings
Vintage glass is always a delight to work with. I originally had these has part of a necklace, but decided they were too unique, and needed to be showcased better, so I turned them into earrings. I did them in gold because I love the buttery yellow against the shiny black.

Inspiration for pieces explained
Egyptian Night Bracelet
I love lapis lazuli, and this piece was a bit of an accident. Originally I wanted just the stone without the bottom bead, however the drilled holes turned out to be fractionally too large. As I was searching for a solution, I tried a tiny bead at the bottom, and was immediatly struck by how it framed the lapis, and added to the overall rich feel of the piece.
Still a favourite!

Inspiration for pieces explained
Black Angel Hair Earrings and Black Rutilated Quartz Bead Necklace

Another find, these gorgeous stones were an absolute must-have. Unfortunaly I couldn't buy too many, so there is no bracelet to match, but these stones would go with jet, for example. I wanted to bring out the ruilations in the stones (the black spikes you can see in the material) so opted for a simple setting.
