Inspiration for pieces explained: Garnet Heart Earrings

After making the Silver Heart with Pink Chalcedony Drop Earrings (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/HTML/Products/E22042/Earrings.htm), I decided that I really wanted to top and tail these pretty hearts with garnets, the colour of passion. I think they work really well.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Pearl and Garnet Drop Necklace

I adore garnets and pearls with silver, and with an influence of Indian jewellery, this piece practically made itself!

I wanted to make sure the stones had different levels on the piece, so chose pearls that were larger than the garnets to get the effect.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Edgy Garnet Heart Earrings

Another piece for Valentine's day (or any other occasion!).

This time I wanted the opposite to my pavé earrings (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/HTML/Products/E22039/Earrings.htm) and have the garnets as the edge to the earrings. I think they work really well because the setting allows the garnets to really shine and show themselves off.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Give Me Your Heart Necklace

I wanted a romantic piece for Valentine's day, and decided that a heart would fit the bill perfectly. I decided that the shape said it all, but added garnets and silver beads to give the piece texture.
