Inspiration for pieces explained: Dutch Earrings

I have had these beads for a long time, and bought them at an antiques fair. Finally I decided to turn them into earrings as they would be too fragile to use as charms, and although they are not a matched pair, I think they work very well.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Hematite Bracelet and Earrings

Hematite is a strange material as it is iron-coloured, but can be polished very highly. It also goes very well with silver, and far from looking cold, the shiny grey/silver looks classy and understated. Very elegant!

The bracelet I have added lots of different sizes and shapes of beads to, giving lots of texture and interest to the piece.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Silver Chain Mail Bracelet and Necklace

I love chain mail, and decided to make my own. Each link is hand-linked to the next, I would call it knitting, but in reality it's nothing like!

Inspiration for pieces explained: Honey Droplet Bracelet

I love yellow citrine, and these are a wonderful example. I decided on a layered look rather than just a single strand, to give the piece a lot of depth and texture. The layers are inspired by Georgian jewellery and style, a lovely period of elegance.
