Inspiration for pieces explained: Garnet and Silver Earrings

         

I wanted to create a matching pair of earrings for the Pearl and Garnet necklace (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/N22056.htm), and thought that garnet surrounded by silver would be just perfect. I adore the silver beads I used in these earrings, they are hand made in India and have such a pretty look! Pairing them with garnet was a no-brainer, the colour just shines out from the earrings.
