My jewellery

Charm bracelet   

 I have always wanted a charm bracelet, but always thought they were a little boring, a plain chain with charms. When I hit upon the idea to add links to the basic chain, I realised that I could make something very special. 

Every charm means something to me, and if I was to make it again it would be very different, as I would make it for the individual who commissioned it.

Amethyst Elegant Drop Earrings    

  

 I found these gorgeous beads at one of my suppliers, and immediately bought up as many as I could. I made a bracelet for myself, which is very intense with the amount of beads, and also a stunning necklace http://www.jewellerydragon.com/HTML/Archive.htm.

Because the stones were so tiny I realised they would only have impact in a large group, so I decided to use multiple strands of chain, and add the beads on randomly. I was delighted with the result, the stones sparkle very well, and the earrings are both fun and flirty!

Victorian Jet Necklace    

    

This piece was born of desperation, trying to find a way of mounting such a large piece of jet elegantly, and stopping it from twisting outwards. 

By stringing it between two doubled-up chains I think I managed to find a successful solution.

Green Flourite necklace, bracelet, earrings    

This is another piece created because of the amazing stones. 

This gorgeous green fluorite was crying out to be shown off, so I deliberately kept it simple so the stones could shine. They were also rather large, so it was natural to pair them with a larger chain.

 Chinese Bead Bracelet and necklace    

   

These beads are wonderful, the tiny-hand painted scenes give a simple shape complexity. As I wanted to give the scenes space to be viewed, I decided against cluttering this bracelet up too much. The earrings are the same, simplicity rules!
