Inspiration for pieces explained: Multi-Coloured Quartz Earrings

I adore these earrings because the colours and cuts of the gems are just so original! Each stone is shaped like a little anvil, but with a soft, frosted interior, and sharp, glistening facets. The colours range from clear to black, giving a lovely depth to these pretty, dangly and flirty earrings.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Oh My! Sapphire Necklace

I really wanted to create a special range of jewellery, and the most precious gems available were the obvious choice. However, as I wanted to create an affordable range, I wanted to distribute the stones within the pieces, while still giving them the maximum impact. This was partially inspired by some incredible 'triangular' stones I had found, that I wanted to use in a special a piece as possible. These became earrings in the Oh My! range.

So, I decided to use rock crystal. Because of the high-sparkle impact of the stones, and the refractive qualities, it takes the sapphires and really emphasises them to the max. I went for these larger rock crystals, and not the stones that inspired me as the original stones were very small, and have highly cut edges, making them perhaps uncomfortable to wear in a necklace, but perfect in earrings. I decided to not focus the sapphires in one area, either, distributing them evenly with the rock crystal so you get the colour right around the necklace. Stunning, and very exiting! Next step, diamonds :)

Inspiration for pieces explained: Water Droplets Bracelet

I adore rock crystal, and felt that these stones needed to shine individually. As putting them too close together caused the stones to lock, I decided to add a silver bead between them to make sure the stones would have some freedom of movement.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Spring Bracelet

I adore green, so the chance to buy these little beauties didn't pass me by. I love using different sizes and shapes together, I think it adds to the texture of the piece, and gives it additional depth. I also love it when the stones have different shadings, and even different colours, again it adds to the beauty of the piece.
