Inspiration for pieces explained: Ice Queen Necklace

When I got these beads I knew there was only one thing to do with them, a simple, but gorgeous necklace. I love silver with the icy-cold of rock crystal, and as I already had a feature bead in silver, I thought it was a good way to use it, and give the necklace a focal point.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Pink Delight Bracelet

Finding good rose quartz is difficult, as it is actually a very pale stone. When I found these I knew I wanted something frothy, but also needed to have them close together to help emphasise the colour.

I was also pleased that there were different sizes of bead to give texture and movement to the piece, the silver with the pink helps too!

Inspiration for pieces explained: Honey Droplet Earrings and necklace

Yellow citrine is one of those underrated stones, but I feel it really has character and depth. It is also a very flattering colour! I couldn't resist these gorgeous twisted pear-shaped stones, the clarity and sparkle from them is just amazing. I chose a simple structure for these as I felt the beads themselves gave a wonderful complexity.

However, I decided to layer them in the similar Honey Waterfall Necklace (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/HTML/Products/N22017/Necklace.htm).
