Inspiration for pieces explained: Emerald Feather Pendant

Green and silver are a fresh, interesting combination, so when I found these feather charms I felt I had to add some green to them. I also made a red cord to go with it, I feel the red and green ping off each other, and give this piece a fresh intensity.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Amethyst Beady Bead Earrings

    

I'm always looking for something different, so when I discovered the joys of making a 'beady bead' (a big bead made from smaller beads), I just had to give it a go. I adore this technique because you get a delicate, lacy effect in the large bead, with detail from the smaller ones. I used solid silver wire to create these, I didn't want to spoil the piece by using anything else.

I created an apple tree necklace, and adored it. I wanted to create another, and as I love blossom in spring, decided to go for an all-white look. Of course this just had to be pearls. The effect is stunning, and I just love it.
