Inspiration for pieces explained: Pure Gold, Pure Pearl Drop Earrings

I decided to make earrings to go with the Pure Gold, Pure Pearl necklace and bracelet set (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/B22018.htm and  http://www.jewellerydragon.com/N22032.htm), so decided to use chain to create this elegant drop.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Pearl Droplet necklace

I adore simple but complex jewellery. These pearls are simply gorgeous, and I wanted to create a waterfall effect across the throat, a cascade of silver and pearl.

When you wear this piece it is so amazing, the silver and pearls have such movement.

Inspiration for pieces explained: Blue topaz necklace

I found this amazing stone and had to make a necklace with it! As the stone is very large, I decided that the best way to display it so the stone would show correctly, was by putting it onto a pearl necklace.

This then supports the stone so it doesn't turn as you wear it, and allows you to show off the amazing piece you have!

Inspiration for pieces explained: Apple Tree Necklace

I have a bracelet I made for myself that has lots of tiny peridot leaves on it. After creating the Tree of Life (http://www.jewellerydragon.com/N22048.htm) necklace I wanted to 'branch out' (ahem) a little, and decided that a tree full of apples and leaves would be perfect.

I had trouble finding such tiny leaves, but I think them combined with the deep-red of the garnet hand-cut 'apples' is just stunning. And I really don't want to sell this piece...
