This started off life as a pearl necklace (although linked, not strung). I wanted to put a single focal bead on it, reminiscent of Elizabethan jewellery, but at the time I only had one size of pearl, so instead I decided to create the frill of pearls instead. Ironically it still has an Elizabethan style to it, and I'm planning additional versions that include different stones. Suggestions always welcome!
