Inspiration for pieces explained: Oh My! Emerald and Rock Crystal Earrings

I really wanted to create a special range of jewellery, and the most precious gems available were the obvious choice. However, as I wanted to create an affordable range, I wanted to distribute the stones within the pieces, while still giving them the maximum impact. This was partially inspired by these incredible 'triangular' stones I found, I really wanted to use them with something special. Because of the high-sparkle impact of the stones, and the refractive qualities, it takes the emeralds and really emphasises them to the max.

I decided not to create a matching necklace, as the rock crystals are very small, and have highly cut edges, making them perhaps uncomfortable to wear in a necklace, but perfect in earrings. Stunning, and very exiting!
